It’s becoming increasingly obvious that all the uncertainty surrounding the future of Arsene Wenger is weighing on the club. Unsure of whether he will stay or go, or who his successor might be, the futures of star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil hang in the balance as well.
All the wavering and waffling questions are having adverse effects of Arsenal FC, as their prolonged slump continues. Today, Crystal Palace thrashed Arsenal FC 3-0, dealing a major blow to the continuation of Wenger’s top four finish streak.
The Gunners have now lost their last four away league fixtures, giving up three goals in each match (that hasn’t happened since 1929), and being outscored 12-3 on aggregate. They have now lost five of their last eight Premier League clashes, with today’s blow out at the hands of 16th place Palace quite possibly the ugliest of all.
The Gunners are now in sixth place, seven points behind Manchester City, a club with which they have one game in hand. In other words, they are in danger of missing out on the top four, and their fans are understandably upset. Check out the video below, posted this morning by Press Association sport. It shows Gunners supporters verbally abusing the players on their own team.
It’s rather extreme.

Arsenal was also a top trending term on Twitter for much of Monday, so here are some of the more entertaining tweets out there in reaction to yesterday’s developments.
Some of these are really funny!
Even if you are an Arsenal FC supporter, you may still even get laugh from these. No seriously.
