Arsenal Twitter has just been on fire the past couple weekends. Both with the Gunners fans who have been overrating their victories and minor trophies, and with the Arsenal schadenfreude that came from the devastating defeat in the season opener/horrifying debut of new goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Social media had some fun at his expense.
So it appears Arsene Wenger, and Arsenal in general, are polarizing figures. The Daily Mirror did a survey and they published their findings today. Behold the “Table of most hated clubs.”
Club | Average of percentages
Man Utd | 68
Chelsea | 65
Liverpool | 60
Man City | 53
Tottenham Hotspur| 46
Arsenal | 41
See the rest of the table, as well as a description of how they made their findings here.
I was quite surprised not to see Arsenal make the top four. I figured it would be the Gunners, United and Chelsea comprising the top three, in some order.
