Pete Carroll, Charles Barkley, Mark Cuban Respond to Trump UGLINESS

pete carroll

Friday night Donald Trump held a campaign rally for an election that he already won 10 months ago. At the rally he called Colin Kaepernick, and other NFL players who don’t stand for the national anthem, “sons of bitches.”

Therefore he also called mothers of NFL players “bitches” in the process. Naturally and deservedly, he’s getting a ton of blowback for such hateful and divisive commentary. Chicago Bears Team Captain Akiem Hicks called Trump out on Saturday.

mesut ozil

Mesut Ozil to Manchester United is the big, juicy transfer rumor making the rounds today. This isn’t the first time either. It’s a Sunday with just one game Premier League game on the schedule (Brighton and Hove Albion beat Newcastle United 1-0), so it’s transfer rumors that are receiving all the attention instead.

Arsene Wenger says Financial Fair Play Will Change Within Next Year

arsene wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger commented on recent efforts by UEFA to have all clubs adhere to its Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. The manager, who may or may not have inside information on the matter, claims that changes to the regulations are to be made within the next 12 months.

It’s no secret that modern football is largely dominated by very rich clubs, who have the finances to employ the world’s top players and staff. Even so, most fans would also agree that certain regulations have to be put in place so that the competitions can offer enough of a fair chance to all participants.

alvaro morata

The first half of Premier League competition for Chelsea this season could not have gone worse. It was also extremely non indicative of how the rest of the season has gone so far. Chicago Cubs Manager Joe Maddon needs to be better than the remarks he made today in response to the sporting world backlashing against President Donald Trump. The POTUS went after Colin Kaepernick and the NFL last night at a needless and pointless rally in Alabama.

Jose Mourinho Sent Off For Touchline Infraction (Photos)

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho got sent off today in the final seconds of injury time in the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Southampton. The rule he broke was stepping outside his allotted zone on the touchline. He went a yard or so outside the technical area, and because it happened in the closing moments, and obviously therefore not covered very well on television broadcasts, many wondered what had just happened.

Here are a couple views of what Mourinho did that got him booted:
