Michigan State signee Joshua Langford likes the odds of top rated recruit Josh Jackson committing to Michigan State

“I like the odds a lot, but I know Josh is going to make the best decision for him,” Langford told The Sports Bank.

“And I’m not the guy who’s going to pressure him into a decision, cuz I know that he knows what he’s doing. His mother is a great person in his life and supports him and teaches him how to make decisions, I think he’s going to make a great decision and I support him one-hundred percent,” Langford said.

Even Wayne Rooney’s Son Seemingly Thinks Jamie Vardy is Better

One of the major Manchester United/England talking points this international break was the striker position. Wayne Rooney has been out of action since mid February due to a knee injury. He probably won’t return for another month. Even though he was out of action last night, England Twitter still shredded the Three Lions and Red Devils skipper to pieces on Monday night.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane opened the scoring for England, and gave an overall tremendous performance as the national team upset Germany 3-2 in an international friendly.

Van Gaal Offered Fallback Option if Man United Sack Him

Louis van Gaal continues to make it very clear that he intends to stay for the duration of his contract and that he also has the backing of the board; at least for the time being.

Van Gaal’s hot seat has reached scorching levels at times this season, but if and when Old Trafford do pull the trigger on dismissing him, he reportedly has a job waiting in the wings.

Dele Alli Could Get “Ten Times Better” Says James Milner

James Milner, who signed to Liverpool from Manchester City in the summer had major praise for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli. Milner sees a really high ceiling for the Spurs breakout star. 

He articulated the teenager’s brilliant form, but also believes that he could be “ten times better” than he is now.

Very Strong Take on Illini Basketball from ESPN’s Jay Williams

ESPN Analyst Jay Williams has never been a college basketball coach, but if he were, he wouldn’t stand for what’s gone on with Illini basketball off-the-court.

Four Illini basketball players have been arrested, and then temporarily kicked off the team, in the past seven months.

Three of those arrests, for very serious violent crimes, have occurred in the past month. Two of those arrests are for battering women. Thus, Illini basketball has never been a bigger disgrace off the court.

Manchester United Icon Gary Neville Sacked By Valencia

Former Manchester United and Everton player Gary Neville took temporary charge of Valencia in late November after first-team coach Nuno Espirito Santo quit. Today he was given the sack.

The member of the legendary Class of ’92 was joined by Salvador Gonzalez, an ex-Valencia defender known colloquially as Voro in the caretaker managerial role.

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has revealed the club want to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Jay Williams Believes Chicago Bulls Should “Start Over” (Exclusive)

Michigan State target Josh Jackson Talks MSU Roster Changes

Josh Jackson, the #1 rated recruit in the nation has decided which school he will be attending, with that announcement coming sometime after the McDonald’s All-American Game festivities. The Detroit native grew up an Michigan State fan, and was once considered a MSU Spartans lean, but now Kansas and Arizona have just as much of a chance to acquire his services as State does.

Yesterday, two MSU forward/wings, Marvin Clark and Javon Bess, declared their intentions to transfer out of East Lansing. This announcement was made one day after Jackson revealed that he had indeed made his college choice.

Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon: Storied Career Ends, NBA Next?

Malcolm Brogdon, Buddy Hield, Tyler Ulis, and Denzel Valentine are your four finalists for the Naismith Award. It, along with the Wooden Award, are essentially your college basketball Heisman trophy. Brogdon, Virginia‘s 6-5 senior two guard, and ACC Player of the Year (the first since Ralph Sampson in 1984), is both a shooter and a scorer, and you’ll see his name in the early second round of many a NBA mock draft. He can bring it on the other end of the court too; having won ACC Defender of the Year this season.

Brogdon has got a lot of size for a two guard at the college level, but he’s not really big for a NBA two, it will be interesting to see how he can find a way to compensate for his lack of size in order to try and fit in at the next level.  He also finished his college basketball career in the worst way possible.

NCAA Final Four Picks and Predictions

Now that the dust has settled from a shocking Elite Eight weekend, it’s time to take a closer look at those left standing. Oklahoma and North Carolina didn’t surprise too many with their victories. The emergence of Villanova and Syracuse though definitely turned quite a few heads.

With that, let’s examine the standouts and surprises of the Final Four.
